Terms & Conditions

This agreement is made between you, "the Consignor", and Bow & Co Consignment & Thrift Boutique, "Bow & Co", and is considered effective as of the date stated on the ‘Consignor Form’. All consignment items, including children’s clothing, outerwear, shoes and/or other items are subject to the terms and conditions set forth below. Bow & Co reserves the right to refuse consignment of any items. By your indication that you 'Agree to the Terms and Conditions', you indicate your agreement to the terms set out below and that you are the lawful owner of all the items that you give us in consideration for consignment.

 

Consignment

Upon receipt of your item(s), Bow & Co will be fully responsible for checking each item for condition, brand, size and then will take that into consideration while choosing a price point. Bow & Co will be responsible for marketing, selling, and shipping your items. Bow & Co has the right to use all items for marketing and promotional use on our website and/or social media platforms.

All items are left at the consignor’s risk. We are not responsible for loss and/or damage of items due to theft, fire, flood, or any other act of nature.

Pricing is at our discretion; prices are based on demand, brand, condition, seasonality, and our inventory. Bow & Co also reserves the right to, at any time, discount items, include items in store sales, and/or offer customer discount codes, which will decrease the retail price and the amount of money you receive for your item.  

When filling in the ‘Consignor Form’, you need to choose whether you would like your items that we cannot accept or that do not sell to be donated to a charity of our choice or if you wish for them to be returned to you. If this preference changes you must notify us via email prior to the end of your consignment period (90 days).

If you chose to have your items returned to you, an email will be sent to you to inform you that your unsold/unaccepted items are available for pick up. You will have 7 days from the day the email is sent to pick up your items. All items remaining after this 7 day period will be donated to a charity of our choice.​

Your consignment items will be uploaded to our site within 1-3 weeks, depending on whether your items are current season items or upcoming season items. Items will remain for sale for approximately 90 days. If items do not sell within this time period, they will be donated or returned to you, as per your preference on the Consignor Form.

 

Payment

For items bought up front, Bow & Co pays you 30% of what an item would be priced at on our website. Once Bow & Co has paid for your items via e-transfer, we become the sole property owner of each item and all items will not be returned to you.

For consignment, Bow & Co pays 40% via e-transfer when your items sell or 50% in consignor credit. IMPORTANT: You will choose a payment method when you submit the consignor form, payment method cannot be changed once this has been submitted. 

Upon the end of the consignment period, Bow & Co will send you a final sales report of your sold items and your percentage of the total profit. If you chose to receive 40% of sold items, an e-transfer will be sent to the email provided within 7 days of the date of final sales report. It is the Consignor's responsibility to accept e-transfer payments within thirty (30) days of receipt. Any e-transfers sent by Bow & Co that have expired after thirty days will not be resent and will become the property of Bow & Co.

Any in-store credit not claimed within twelve (12) months will become the property of Bow & Co.
